We welcome to our worship leadership the Rev. George Wilkes, executive presbyter of Foothills Presbytery.  George was a fellow participant in the mission trip to the Gulf Coast in which six of our members took part in the Fall of 2005.  Please welcome George warmly after worship!

Family Model Summer Sunday School continues each week at 9:30 AM in All Saints’ Hall.  Parents and children will work together each week in learning centers based on the Twelve Disciples.  Participants are encouraged to choose a different disciple each week to read about and to explore through art, writing, and other creative activities.  Greeters will be available each week to guide families to activities. All activities take place in All Saints’ Hall!

JR. HIGH YOUTH attending THE MIDDLE SCHOOL CONFERENCE and their parents must complete and sign a covenant and release form before being registered for the conference.  A copy of insurance cards is also needed.  Please stop by the church office to fill out these forms and copy insurance cards.

Junior and Senior High Youth will meet together for Sunday School each week this summer.  Please gather in the Youth Lounge at 9:30 AM for a video (from the Nooma series) and discussion! Teachers will rotate weekly.

Visitors from Kwahu Presbytery in Ghana will arrive on July 15^th for a month-long visit in  Pickens! The Giddings family will be hosting Timothy Annoh, his wife Comfort, and their two daughters.  Timothy will be preaching at our July 20th worship service.  If you would like to offer to host Timothy and his family for a day, please contact Robin Giddings, or leave word with the church office.  If you cannot volunteer to host, any donation to help alleviate the expenses of those hosting would also be appreciated.  You may send donations to the church office, payable to Pickens Presbyterian Church and marked for "Ghana visitors." 

We are looking for volunteers to help fill the choir during the summer months, as well as sharing “untapped” talents for special music.  Please see Maria Kithcart.
