Church Staff
Pastor: The Rev. J. S. Randolph Harris Randy Harris is a native of Virginia. He is a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College (B.A., English, 1989) and Union Theological Seminary in Virginia (M.Div., 1994, Th.M., 1995). Ordained as a Minister of Word and Sacrament in 1995, he served as an associate pastor at First Presbyterian Church, Columbus, Georgia with his wife Carol Ann from 1995 to 1998, prior to coming to Pickens. In addition to his work with the church, he currently serves as the book review editor for The Presbyterian Outlook. Randy is married to the Rev. Carol Ann Moore Harris. They have two children, Marshall and Morgan.
Director of Children and Youth Ministries: The Rev. Carol Ann Moore Harris Carol Ann grew up in the Carolinas. She is a graduate of Presbyterian College (B.A. in Religion), Union Theological Seminary in Virginia (M.Div., 1991), and the Presbyterian School of Christian Education (M.A., 1992). Carol Ann was ordained as Minister of Word and Sacrament in 1993 and served the PC(USA) in the areas of campus ministry and seminary admissions before accepting a call as associate pastor at First Presbyterian Church in Columbus, Georgia. In addition to her work with Pickens Presbyterian Church, she is currently serving on the planning team for the 2006 Montreat Middle School Conference. Carol Ann is married to Randy Harris.
Choir Director: Mrs. Maria A. Kithcart Maria Kithcart is a native of central North Carolina, now residing in Central, SC with her husband and son. She attended Southern Wesleyan University, where she earned her B.S. in Music Education and Master of Ministry degrees. In addition to her responsibilities as Administrative Assistant in the church's office, she serves as Choir Director for The Adult Choir, Youth Choir, Heartsong, and Music Makers.
Organist: Mrs. Donna N. Nabors
Donna Nabors has faithfully served as the organist for
Pickens Presbyterian Church for over 30 years. An alumna from Anderson
College, she was raised in Easley and now resides in Pickens, SC with her
family. Donna has two grown children and two grandchildren.
